Warm and cosy in the winter, light and airy in the summer, our traditional pub bar has plenty of character. It is decorated in The Coldstream Guards colours while the walls display photographs of the local area from the 1950’s.The wood burner is kept well banked during winter to warm you after a brisk walk and we have begun our collection of pub games with a shove-hapenny board; backgammon, chess, dominoes, checkers to follow.

As well as offering local ales & premium spirits we keep an eye out for quality drinks that we find interesting or unusual, such as Polgoon Apple Juice from Penzance or Middleton Very Rare Irish whiskey. These standards are continued in our wine list which offers some old recognised favourites along with interesting less well known wines.
